Account information when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email (name, email address, and profile picture where provided)
Payment information (processed securely by Stripe on the web, or by Apple through App Store in-app purchase on iOS; we do not store card details)

Basic usage analytics (pages visited, features used)
Session data for authentication

2. How We Use Your Information

File processing: Your uploaded files are processed by VocalDock's own AI models to generate the results you request. Your files are never used for advertising or to train AI models.
Authentication: Account information is used to identify your account and manage your credits.
Payment processing: Payment data is handled by Stripe for web purchases or Apple for iOS in-app purchases.
Service improvement: Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us improve the Service.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with any third party for that party's own use. We do not use third-party AI models or external AI APIs. AI processing is performed by VocalDock's own models running on contracted cloud infrastructure.

We use the following service providers, which process data solely on our behalf and under our instructions:

Stripe: Payment processing for web purchases
Apple: Payment processing for iOS in-app purchases
Cloudflare: Content delivery and temporary file storage
Modal: Cloud GPU infrastructure on which VocalDock's own AI models run; files are deleted from processing servers after processing completes

These providers are required to protect the data in accordance with their applicable data protection terms and privacy commitments. They process the data only to provide the services described above on VocalDock's behalf.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded files and processed results: Kept for up to 30 days so you can download them, then deleted automatically. Files on AI processing servers are deleted as soon as processing completes.
Account data: Retained until you delete your account.
Payment records: Retained as required by law for accounting purposes.

You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app ("Profile → Delete Account") or by emailing [email protected]. Deletion is irreversible: we remove your personal data and processed results. To prevent abuse and to help our support team verify ownership if you later contact us, we retain an irreversible hashed identifier and a masked version of your email address. Transaction records are retained for the period required by law. Deleting your account does not cancel active subscriptions — manage those in your App Store or Stripe subscription settings.

Upon receiving a valid legal request (e.g., DMCA takedown), we will delete the identified content.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Delete your account and data — directly in the app ("Profile → Delete Account") or by contacting us
Access the data we hold about you
Opt out of non-essential data collection

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies for essential functionality (authentication session). No tracking cookies are used.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes.
