How is this different from the AI vocal remover?
The AI engine is the same, but the intent is different. The AI vocal remover is optimized for users who mainly want an instrumental backing track. This page is for users who mainly want isolated acapella vocals.
Can I use the acapella in a remix or mashup?
Technically yes, but copyright still applies. Use material you own, have permission to remix, or are legally allowed to transform. You are responsible for how you publish or distribute the output.
Can I extract vocals from a video?
Yes. Upload MP4, MOV, or WebM and VocalDock extracts the audio before separating vocals from the instrumental. If you need a finished MP4 with vocals or music removed, use remove music from video or karaoke video maker.
What if I need drums, bass, guitar, and piano too?

How clean will the acapella be?
Clean studio mixes usually produce the best results. Heavy reverb, layered harmonies, live bleed, distortion, and very loud instruments can leave artifacts in the isolated vocal.

No. Uploads are deleted after 3 days, generated results after 7 days, and we never use your audio for model training.
