What format is the recording saved as?
You choose — MP3 (default, most compatible), WAV (lossless, larger file), or WebM (browser-native, smallest). Picking MP3 or WAV runs a quick in-browser conversion before download.
Is there a time limit?
No fixed limit, but very long recordings can use significant browser memory. For multi-hour sessions, prefer dedicated recording software.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, on iOS Safari and Android Chrome / Firefox. You'll need to allow microphone permission when prompted.
Is my audio stored on your servers?
No. The recording stays in your browser memory until you download it. Once you close the tab, it's gone — we have zero copies.
